A Closed DoorAn opening appears before my face A door with no handle No way whatsoever to open it A bright light shines from around the edges While I remain in darkness A desire fills me To see what lies beyond this door It is so strong Yet I am so weak How am I to open it To see what lies behind its wood To not be able to reach this unknown It is maddening This desire pushes and pushes me So I begin to hit the door with myself In an attempt to open this one door As I begin A thousand doors appear around me Each with the key in its lockA Closed Door
